Xbox Scarlett to Play Games from Previous Consoles
Microsoft reveals its next-generation Xbox, named Scarlett. Microsoft’s intention with the new Xbox is to set a new bar for console gaming.
The purchase of discs will decline as gamers will be purchasing content globally, digitally.
Xbox Corporate Vice President Mike Ybarra said, “It’s really about eliminating all those bottlenecks, so those game developers can really deliver on their visions, to try and enable developers to make the best possible versions of their games.”
According to comicbook.com, Microsoft’s new Project Scarlett would feature thousands of games across four console generations.
The Microsoft gaming system will be available in 2020, however, the price and other details are under wrap.
We hope to hear more about it in the coming weeks and months from Microsoft. Updates to follow.
