Call of Duty Vanguard Multiplayer Free for Limited Time

2 min read

Anyone who doesn’t own last year’s Call of Duty Vanguard – the most recent entry in the massively popular series – will have a chance to give the game a go soon without having to pay a cent.

Select parts of the multiplayer experience will be made available for free to all players as part of an upcoming Free Access event, as announced by Activision. This content includes a playlist of mixed game modes on Casablanca and Gondola, two maps from the game’s recent Season 2. It will also give players access to Season 2’s Reloaded large-scale battles on the Alps in the game’s new Arms Race mode. This mode expands on the usual smaller fighting that goes on in the game, including tanks and motorcycles.

Finally, the last playlist that players can access is a playlist that comes with a mix of game modes across some of Vanguard’s most popular maps.

Along with this news, we also know that Snoop Dogg is coming to the game later this week as a playable operative in both Vanguard and Warzone, the popular battle royale.

Call of Duty Vanguard came out last year to somewhat middling reviews. While many praised its return to the Modern Warfare 2019 engine and gameplay, players still felt like it just wasn’t innovative enough. This resulted in the game’s sales being the lowest in the franchise’s history.
