2 min read

Taking some time to destress and try something different is a good way to keep your sanity. If you happen to love music and singing, then karaoke is the best of both worlds!

There is a little bit of setup involved, but it’s pretty easy, painless and worth the effort!

I mean come on, getting white girl wasted while blasting Celine Dion? Shotgunning cheap beer and decimating Neil Diamond? Pounding Jagermeister and attempting Rap God?! The memories are endless!

Step 1 – Get some Friends Together, Skype and Zoom works well

Karaoke is no fun when you’re alone! Get some people together, but if you’re gung-ho on adhering to social distancing, then video calls work just as well! Coordinate with them and work out a schedule.

Step 2 – Find an App

Alright this is probably the easiest step. There are literally hundreds of Karaoke apps available for both Android and iOS.

Personally we recommend the Smule app. It’s easy to use, intuitive and has plenty of options for both free and premium versions of the app.

Step 3 – Create a playlist or start a list of songs

Probably the second easiest and most obvious part of a good karaoke night is having the songs to choose from.

Get some creativity in it, try some songs that you’ve never even considered before. Variety is the spice of life people! Give some new artists or songs a chance!

Step 4 – Get the singing going!

Come on now, you thought that the last step was gonna be something else?! You have everything you need to have a baller Karaoke night, the only thing missing is people singing!

This is the time when you sing like no one’s listening!
