Grand Theft Auto Trilogy Gets New Update

2 min read

GTA Trilogy Update

The release of Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto Trilogy has been a turbulent one, but the developer has released a new update that is looking to help smooth things over.

For those who aren’t aware, the Grand Theft Auto Trilogy was looking to bring back some buzz about some of players’ favorite entries in the seres: 3, Vice City, and San Andreas. Bringing the games to the modern consoles was meant to be a great way to bring players back while we wait for Grand Theft Auto 6. However, the game has been plagued with technical issues and bugs. From performance issues to an underwhelming graphical update, the collection quickly became somewhat of a meme on the internet.

Fortunately, it looks like Rockstar isn’t going to just let the games fizzle out and are putting in the work to fix them. Which is what this new update is aiming to do. The list of improvements is impressive – too impressive for us to cover all of right here. However, it does look like San Andreas is receiving the most improvements right now, such as improvement to the game’s UI.

If you want to see everything that is coming in the update, you can check out the patch notes here.

Of course, this doesn’t mean the game is fixed now and there is still plenty of work that needs to be done to get it where it should be. But this is a really good step in the right direction and may just be what brings players back.
