Sony announced a new major update to Horizon Forbidden West as part of yesterday’s State of Play, and it adds a good chunk of stuff to the game.

The update gives Horizon Forbidden West a new Performance Mode which adds visual fidelity while also maintaining a solid framerate while playing. It also gave the game a new transmog system which allows you to make whatever armor you’re wearing look like another while maintaining its stats. This means no more sacrificing stats for style, or vice versa. It also adds the ability to redistribute skill points to rework your Aloy’s abilities.

The biggest part of the update, however, is the addition of New Game+, allowing you to start at the beginning of the game with the gear and skills you unlocked at the end of your first playthrough. It also comes with a new Ultra Hard mode to go along with this ability to use end game gear. And as a bonus, you have more Trophies to work towards!
