The Story of Cal Kestis is going to be continuing as we finally have an announcement for the sequel to 2019’s Star War Jedi: Fallen Order that is coming very soon.

The next game – titled Jedi: Survivor – has been given a brand new teaser trailer, albeit one that doesn’t give as much information as we may want.

What we do know is that Cal is still on the run from the Inquisitors, the group that is hunting down all Jedi after the execution of Order 66. These are the same people that were hunting him in Fallen Order, and we even get a possible glimpse of their leader, the Grand Inquisitor.

We also get to see a humanoid creature in a bacta tank that Cal is looking at when the trailer ends. We have no idea who this character is, but given their prominence in the trailer, we can expect the character to be important to the story.

Notably, the allies that Cal makes in Fallen Order seem to be absent from the trailer. We don’t see any glimpse of Cere Junda, Greez Dritus, Nightsister Merrin, and Bogling, all of these characters were around for most of the first game, and yet, we don’t see any of them in this trailer. It could be that Cal will break away from them for some reason during the game, or worse: they may not make it past the opening of the game.

Or, they just aren’t in the trailer and everyone will be there for the whole adventure. We just don’t know.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is set for release in 2023, and there is sure to be more information revealed this summer as companies get ready to drop some announcements in lieu of E3’s cancellation.
